Christmas Carol- 2018

To make them know that it’s Christmas

Spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love, of generosity and of goodness. It is the spirit of giving without the thought of getting. It is forgetting self and finding time for others

Christmas has come around again in 2018. We read in Isaiah 61: 1 that: “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor”

As a deviation from the tradition to share the joy of Christmas by way of Carols amongst the members and neighbourhood and to have a blessed and meaningful advent, in continuation of the program launched last year, Mother Theresa’s Home of Destitute at Variav, a remote village in Surat which houses 300+ mostly leprosy patients, orphans, sick and mentally challenged was visited on Sunday 16th December, 2018

MCA , MCYM & MCCL Members alongwith Rev Fr Ani Zachariah, OIC actively involved in the program to spread the wings of peace, compassion and heavenly love to the poor and destitute. Cakes were distributed to all and they sang and dance with Santa. Rev Sisters alongwith the inmates welcomed the members with immense pleasure and joy and said by with the hope of meeting again in 2019

Carol services continued on 17th to 19th and visited all houses of members and closely associated well wishers
